Mental Health Life Promotion Manager

Temporary Position 8 month contract
LOCATION: Alice Springs
RESPONSIBLE TO: General Manager
This Senior Management role will provide clear direction, supervision and support for the team. This person will be responsible for reporting, budgets, monitoring key performance indicators and program planning. They will provide a high level of culturally appropriate strategic advice in relation to suicide prevention and mental health promotion activities aligned to the National LIFE Framework and mental health standards. The successful applicant will have appropriate qualifications or significant relevant experience in management, community development, health promotion, adult education and/or program administration.

Program Development Officer

LOCATION: Alice Springs
RESPONSIBLE TO: General Manager
The Program Development Officer will work under the direction of the Program Manager to ensure the efficient and effective operational management of a key initiative of this branch of MHACA, Suicide Story. The position holder will play a key role in project development, management and implementation across a range of health and non-health sectors, including project monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The Program Development Officer will assist the Program Manager with the recruitment and management of project staff. This person will work closely with the Facilitator Development Officer role.

Facilitator Development Officer

RESPONSIBLE TO: General Manager
Indigenous Identified Position
The Facilitator Development Officer will provide regular communication, mentoring and support to the team of Facilitator trainers for Suicide Story. This person will guide the development of the Facilitator training program and will be skilled in adult training, two-way learning practices, assessment and mentoring in the context of Central Australia. They will manage potential partnerships related to the Facilitator Training and liaise with the Program Development Officer to implement processes for quality assurance of Suicide Story.
