DESCRIPTION:World Suicide Prevention Day\nCreating Hope Through Action\, our Mparntwe World Suicide Prevention Day event\, will be held 11am-1pm Friday 9 September on the Council Chamber Lawns. \nThe event will include a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony with Aunty Sabella Kngwaraye Turner\, speakers\, music by Kirra Voller and Billy Black\, craft activities\, a photo booth and a free healthy BBQ. The event provides a reflective moment around the impact of suicide in our communities\, and promotes our local programs that are working in suicide prevention and increasing community wellbeing.
