DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Museum of Australia is hosting the Equal Futures International Women’s Day Fair 5-8pm Saturday 4 March 2022.\n\n\n\nWith performances by Casii Williams\, Shilo\, Ruby Hill and Singchronicity plus markets stalls\, speakers and food and drinks.\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event\, with a live broadcast from 8CCC and a free healthy BBQ between 5-6pm.\n\n\n\nThe Fair will be held on the grounds of the Women’s Museum (Old Gaol)\, 2 Stuart Terrace\, Alice Springs and entry is via donation. The event has been organised in collaboration with MHACA\, Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia\, Central Australian Women’s Legal Service\, Relationships Australia and 8CCC Community Radio.\n\n\n\nInternational Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social\, economic\, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity.
