DESCRIPTION:These 1-hour workshops will run 12pm-1pm from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 October at the Stress Less Hub at the Alice Plaza\, Mparntwe/Alice Springs. A perfect opportunity to unwind during your lunch break!\n\n\nSpots are limited\, register at https://shorturl.at/xfINt\n\n\n•Monday 7 October – Mindful Movement Workshop with Be.ME Movement Education \nBe.ME Movement Education will facilitate a dynamic session of mindful movement designed to reduce stress and boost your energy. This workshop offers a refreshing way to practice self-care and leave attendees feeling revitalised. \n• Tuesday 8 October – Exercise with Lucinda from Reclink Australia \nLucinda will facilitate a fun and energising workout session. Exercise can have a good impact on our mental health and emotional wellbeing. It not only boosts our mood\, it also improves our cardiovascular and overall physical health. Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. This workshop welcomes all and is beginners friendly. \n• Wednesday 9 October – Clay Making Workshop with Healing Studio \nThe Healing Studio will facilitate a therapeutic clay-making workshop. Engaging in the tactile process of working with clay promotes relaxation and can reduce stress levels. No previous experience is required. \n• Thursday 10 October – Yoga with Federico \nFederico will guide a gentle yoga class suitable for all levels. Yoga breathing practices and meditation can help calm and centre the mind and also help reduce anxiety and depression. Bring your own mat if you have one\, some mats will also be available.

You will be grounded in social and emotional well-being from an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander perspective and explore strengths-based communication tips to engage Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people. \nAll accredited training is available free of charge to pension card holders and Higher Education and VET students. DESCRIPTION:Stress Less in the Plaza is on Friday 11 October 10am-1pm at the Alice Plaza\, Mparntwe/Alice Springs. It is the feature event of Mental Health Week and focuses on community wellbeing. With speakers\, information stalls\, music by Shilo and Darcy Davis\, dance fit workshop\, kids’ activities and free massages. It’s a free whole community event. Come on down!This activity is supported by funding from the Northern Territory PHN through the Australian Government’s PHN Program.

DESCRIPTION:safeTALK is a half-day alertness workshop that prepares anyone\, regardless of experience or training\, to become a suicide-alert helper.
