<p><strong>POSITION:</strong> Mental Health Recovery Worker (male identified)</p>
<p><strong>SALARY LEVEL:</strong> $88,970.98 &#8211; $95,736.61 (MHACA EBA/SCHADS Level 4) + 12% super</p>
<p><strong>POSITION HOURS:</strong> 38 hours a week. Full time and ongoing.</p>
<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>Mental Health Recovery Workers provide non-clinical supports to people living with mental health challenges and psychosocial disability. Recovery Workers provide participant-centred supports and assist participants in setting goals and actions as part of a Stay Strong Recovery Plan. The goals are individual to the person but may include things like developing or rediscovering social and living skills, access to training and employment opportunities and participation within the community through engagement in activities. The supports can provided at MHACA, at the participants home or in the community. This position will be supporting male participants, including Aboriginal men, and as such is male identified to provide culturally responsive supports.</p>
<p><strong>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for someone who has case management or support work experience who can work with flexibly in a dynamic organisation. An ability to easily develop rapport with people from a range of backgrounds is essential.</p>

<p><strong>When:</strong> 5pm Tuesday 18 November</p>
<p><strong>Where</strong>: MHACA premises, 14 Lindsay Avenue, East Side.</p>
<p><strong>Entry</strong>: Please park at Netball courts or IGA carpark and enter via MHACA’s back gate.</p>
<p>The Special General Meeting will begin at 5pm, where we will be seeking membership endorsement of changes to MHACA’s constitution to modernise the constitution and more accurately reflect the work of the organisation in 2025. This will be followed by the Annual General Meeting where MHACA’s annual report will be presented, as well as the election of Board members.</p>
<p>Light refreshments will be available.</p>
