MHACA was pleased to be part of the Australian Homelessness Conference 2026, held on 7–8 October at the Darwin Convention Centre.

Under the theme Homelessness: Disrupting the Narrative, the conference brought together more than 600 sector leaders, researchers and practitioners to share knowledge, experiences and approaches to addressing homelessness.

Representatives from MHACA's Housing and Homelessness Service and Living Skills Program attended, with the Living Skills team presenting a session on Valuing Lived Experience in service delivery.

It was a valuable opportunity to share our work, learn from others and strengthen connections across the homelessness sector.
