Aboriginal Youth Mental Health First Aid 5+6 October

MHACA will be delivering Aboriginal Youth Mental Health First Aid in Mparntwe – Alice Springs on 4 + 5 October 2022.

Places are limited so if you are interested in attending please return the form at your earliest convenience. Registrations close Monday 19 September.

Please note this is an introductory price of $200 to kickstart MHACA’s new training program.

This accredited training supports participants to:

  • recognise common mental health problems affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
  • provide initial support using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan
  • seek appropriate professional help
  • respond in a crisis situation.

The training will be held at The Purple Shed, 15 Lindsay Avenue, East Side and will be facilitated by Billie-Jo Napaljarri.
