Heads Up Youth Wellbeing Event 2024

Despite the hot weather, more than 300 young people came to the event on Friday 30 August at the Alice Springs Town Council Lawns. They learnt about how to support their wellbeing and enjoyed some live music, speakers, face painting and workshops. Local organisations hosted stalls and engaged kids with interactive and educational activities.
This event was possible due to a strong collaborative effort between local services acknowledging the need to support youth in our community. A special thank you to the local schools and youth organisations who attended.
Heads Up was organised by MHACA, with the support of headspace Alice Springs , the Northern Territory PHN, Northern Territory Government and Alice Springs Town Council.
