Men’s Health Week event

Men’s Health Week community event is on Friday 13 June 11am-1pm at the Todd Mall as part of Men’s Health Week. Let’s come together for a relaxed time on the lawns to promote and support the mental health and wellbeing of men and boys in our communities. Everyone is welcome!
There will be:
👉Free haircuts and shaves by Barber Blak Kings
👉 Information stalls
👉 A healthy BBQ cooked by the Rotary Club of Alice Springs
👉 AFL Northern Territory kicking the footy around
This free community event is part of International Men’s Health Week 2025 (9-15 June), an opportunity to spark conversations highlighting the importance of men’s health.

FREE SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING

👉 ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

2-day interactive training program which teaches participants to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Open to everyone aged 16+ — no professional background required.

When: Tuesday 4 & Wednesday 5 November
Time: 8:15am – 4:30pm
Where: Red Hot Arts, 67 Bath Street (diagonal across from Kmart)
Catering: Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided
