June Group Activities Calendar

June Highlights:

  • New activities:
    • Sports at the Y with Reclink every Tuesday at 11:30am – 12:30pm.
    • Retro Renegades every second Friday at 1pm – 3pm, starting on Friday 13 June.
    • Writing Circle every second Friday at 1pm – 3pm, starting on Friday 6 June.
  • Finke Night Markets on Thursday 5 June 5pm to 8pm.
  • Men’s Health Week Community event on Friday 13 June from 11am to 1pm.
  • Second Peer Reference Group meeting on Monday 30 June from 10am to 11am.

Weekend Activities include Cinema, Bowling, and a day trip to Standley Chasm.

MHACA’s Drop-in Centre will be closed on Monday 9 June for Public Holiday.

MHACA can also provide individual support and is a registered NDIS provider.

In addition to structured activities, a Drop-in Centre is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am – 3pm, and Wednesdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

The Drop-in Centre is a welcoming space where people can connect with others and participate in activities. It provides:

  • a comfy lounge area
  • kitchen facilities
  • computers with internet access
  • activities such as music jam, healthy cooking and sports
  • musical instruments
  • laundry and bathroom facilities.

It can be addictive, lead to feelings of isolation and expose us to harmful content which can contribute to anxiety and depression.
