Highlights in April include:

  • Audit Celebration Shared Lunch – Wednesday 1 April, 12:00pm – 1:00pm
    Let’s come together to celebrate MHACA’s successful audit with a shared lunch for staff and participants.
  • Easter Egg Hunt – Thursday 2 April, 12:30pm – 1:00pm
  • Peer Reference Group – Monday 13 April, 11:30am – 12:30pm
  • Gambling Education Session (CatholicCare) – Monday 20 April, 10:00am – 12:00pm
    An educational session to build understanding of the risks and harms associated with gambling.
  • Trivia – Monday 20 April, 1:00pm – 2:00pm
  • Women’s Group – Every Tuesday, 10:00am – 12:00pm
    A women-only group providing a safe and supportive space to share your story and connect with others who may have similar experiences.
  • Participant Wellbeing Day – Wednesday 22 April, 10:30am – 1:00pm
    Enjoy free haircuts, relaxing massages, nail treatments, and a healthy lunch—take some time to treat yourself!
  • Centrelink at MHACA – Thursday 23 April, 9:00am – 11:00am
    An opportunity to have a free and confidential chat with a Centrelink representative about any concerns you may have.
  • Cricket at Ross Park – Monday 27 April, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
  • Footy 4 Life – Wednesday 29 April, 10:00am – 12:00pm
    New 2026 season starting! Get some gentle exercise at Footy 4 Life, facilitated by AFL NT. This session is suitable for people of all abilities.

Weekend Activities:
Driving Range Session at the Golf Club and Parrtjima Festival of Light.

Please note:
MHACA will be closed on Friday 3 and Monday 6 April due to Easter public holidays.
There will be no weekend activities on Saturday 4 and Saturday 25 April.

MHACA can also provide individual support and is a registered NDIS provider.

In addition to structured activities, a Drop-in Centre is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am – 3pm, and Wednesdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

The Drop-in Centre is a welcoming space where people can connect with others and participate in activities. It provides:

  • a comfy lounge area
  • kitchen facilities
  • computers with internet access
  • activities such as music jam, healthy cooking and sports
  • musical instruments

Women's Safety Services of Central Australia, Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), and Central Australian Women's Legal Service invite you to a free screening of What’s Love Got to Do with It. The film explores themes of love, consent, and relationships, and offers a chance to learn, reflect, and connect with others.
