We were thrilled to see such a wonderful turnout at our annual Stress Less in the Plaza event, especially after a week of challenging weather conditions.

It was great to see people of all ages coming together to enjoy live music, creative activities, wellbeing experiences and conversations about mental health.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible!

A special thank you to our sponsors Northern Territory Primary Health Network (Northern Territory PHN), Northern Territory Government and NT Mental Health Coalition for their small mental health week grants funding scheme.

We also extend our thanks to the Alice Plaza, Foodbank SA & Central Australia, 8CCC Community Radio 102.1fm - Alice Springs & Tennant Creek, the Plaza Wellbeing Centre and all the service providers, performers, volunteers and community members who contributed to the event.

🌟 MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 2026 – WHAT A WEEK!

What a fantastic week of community participation, creativity and connection for Mental Health Week 2026!

We hosted daily craft activities, including painted purses, leathercraft, mosaic tiles and weaving. Participants put creativity and care into every piece they created. It was a great reminder of how mindful activities can help us slow down, bring us together and create safe spaces to talk, connect and share stories.

This year's theme, Small Steps, reminded us that even small actions can make a difference to our mental health and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the week such a success!
