MHACA joined the Utju/Areyonga and Amoongana's Healthy Communities events last week with a health promotion stall. We had great conversations with community members and handed out wellbeing bags with some self-care items.

Kids enjoyed some fun and educational activities with Milpa the Goanna and Costa, Dirt Girl and Scrap Boy from Get Grubby TV, adults joined the best beef stew competition with BushWok Cooking, and there was a virtual reality station for everyone to try out the goggles.

CAAMA Radio did a great job at broadcasting the event.

Thank you MacDonnell Regional Council once more for inviting us to be part of such a good initiative!

Self-care is the time we take to look after our mind and body. It is also deeply personal and specific to what each of us needs and what fits into our routines.

An established practice can help us find greater balance in our lives and help us relieve stress. What things will you do this weekend to support your wellbeing?
