Day Program Manager

POSITION: Day Program Manager

SALARY LEVEL:ย $111,212.53 โ€“ $116,128.68 (MHACA EBA/SCHADS Level 6.1) + 11.5% super

POSITION HOURS: 38 hours a week. Full-time, and ongoing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Day Program Manager will oversee a Drop-in Centre for MHACA participants, where participants can access dignity facilities, computers, basic kitchen facilities, and have an opportunity to socially connect with others. The Day Program Manager is responsible for facilitating a range of therapeutic and recreational group activities both onsite at MHACA as well as in the community.

The Day Program provides services for participants with and without a NDIS Plan, and the Day Program Manager is responsible for overseeing data entry, incident reports, and developing NDIS Service agreements. The Day Program Manager oversees a small team of Activities Officers who facilitate the Drop-in Centre area and the group activities, including a weekend activity and a monthly evening activity.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is an experienced service delivery manager who has excellent communication and administrative skills. The Day Program Manager will be patient, respectful and kind but will also manage strategies to maintain a calm and safe environment for staff and participants in the Drop-in Centre and for activities in the community. An ability to easily develop rapport with people from a range of backgrounds is essential.
