Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth Mental Health First Aid – Tennant Creek

In this informative and strengths-based two-day course you will learn how to assist Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional support is received or the crisis resolves, using practical, evidence-based action plan. You will be grounded in social and emotional well-being from an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander perspective and explore strengths-based communication tips to engage Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people.

All accredited training is available free of charge to pension card holders and Higher Education and VET students.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellations received up to 7 days before a workshop, the full fee will be refunded, or the payment can be held in credit for the next workshop. A fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations received within 7 days of a workshop. The full workshop fee will be charged for any non-attendance. Substitution is allowed, another person can fill a spot originally booked for someone else.
