This week is Schizophrenia Awareness Week 🧑

TODAY, MHACA is hosting a health promotion stall with information and resources about schizophrenia β€” come and have a chat with us.

Schizophrenia is a common mental health condition that can affect a person’s thinking, perceptions, and behaviour.

MHACA supports people experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including schizophrenia. Our Hearing Voices Group is a safe, understanding weekly support group for people who hear voices or experience intrusive thoughts. The group explores various support strategies and provides a safe space for participants to discuss their experiences.

It is possible to live a full and meaningful life while living with schizophrenia. If you are experiencing mental health challenges and would like to join group activities or receive individual support, contact us at intake@mhaca.org.au or call 8950 4600.
